14 months

Caroline continues to keep us on our toes!  She was recently described at a birthday party as "full of personality" and I think that is exactly right!  She is a bit of a drama queen

She has several new words!  On her first birthday she would say Mama, Dada and bye bye.  Now she will also say Hi, Bye, Night Night, book, boat, baby (these three sound almost the same), Sydney (sounds like shishy), juice and cheese.

She is doing well in her new class at school, but I think it is wearing her out!  Lee picked her up from school one day last week and she was asleep in the middle of the floor, face down while all of the other kids played around her.

She also has started walking to the refrigerator when she wants something to drink and to her high chair when she is ready to eat.  She still does not miss a meal!  It is cool to see how much she actually understands.

Caroline keeps us laughing with her silly faces and her head strong ways.  She is a spunky little thing and I absolutely love it!

Moving on Up

Today was Caroline's first day in her new classroom- the Creeper Room.  She has loved her teachers in the baby room since we started her at Overbrook, so I know this will be a tough transition, but one that she needs.  Last week, she spent some time in her new room with her new teachers and friends in an attempt to get her used to the idea.  I swear, she knew something was different this morning, even before we got to school.  She shed a few tears when we got to her new classroom, but the other kids quickly offered her toys and tried to play with her.  I am sure I cried more than she did. 

I know she will be just fine, but if nothing else, this will be a long day for me!
