Steeplechase
Steeplechase fun with the Reynolds family! Good friends, perfect weather, and 4 very well behaved little ones made for a really great day...even if Lee and Caroline didn't win every race this year!

Sisters
Caroline really is sweet with Tolson. She is interacting with her more and more. She wakes up asking for "baby" and always says "night night, baby" when I am taking her to bed at night. Caroline even grabs Tolson's hands and tries to dance with her during her dance parties. I am thrilled for my girls to be so close in age and love that they will grow up knowing first hand how special it is to have a sister.

Snow Day #3
School was closed again today and Caroline is getting a little stir crazy. Most of the snow has melted now and it warmed up a bit, so we ventured outside to run around. Caroline loves "oside" and after today, I think Tolson does, too. Both girls were all smiles, but only the little one would cooperate for my camera!

My peanut is allergic to tree nuts.
When we were in Aiken for Christmas, Caroline ate a cashew and had an immediate reaction. Luckily, Allison was there, noticed it quickly, and knew just what to do. Mom had some children's benadryl on hand, so with some benadryl and a bath, Caroline was good as new. Scared me to death. Our pediatrician referred us to an allergist, and we had our appointment yesterday.
Caroline has an allergy to tree nuts. Her biggest reaction was to cashew, pistachio and coconut. She is also allergic to the other tree nuts- walnut, almond, hazelnut and pecan. While this is a bummer, it is much better than it could have been. She had no reaction to peanut, so that is a relief- peanuts and peanut oil are in everything!
We will try to keep her away from tree nuts, carry an EpiPen with us as a precaution and pray that she is among the 10% of children who outgrow this particular allergy. We go back in 12 months to have her retested.

Christmas 2013 in St. Matthews
We went to St. Matthews to celebrate after Christmas.
We had a delicious lunch, then let the kids go wild with their presents! Christmas just gets crazier with this group, too. Seven kids and one more coming in May!
Lee got a GoPro for Christmas and got the best video of Caroline on Cooper's tricycle. Once I figure out how to post on here, I will add it. It was the cutest video!
