Easter 2013

We went to Aiken for Easter this year.  On Saturday morning, we went with the Shellhouses for an Easter Egg Hunt and brunch.  Caroline wasn't so sure about the Easter Bunny!  

Then we spent the rest of Saturday relaxing at home with the girls.  The weather was awesome and it was a great day to sit outside.  

Saturday night, we left the girls at home with a babysitter and went out to a dance party with Deas Guyz!

After church, Mom had everyone over for lunch.  Addie and Lily had a great time looking for eggs.  Caroline and Bennett had fun with a few eggs in the grass, too! 

It was a wonderful weekend!  

9 months

Caroline's 9 month stats:

28.62 inches- 82%

20 pounds 6 ounces- 76%

Head circumference- 94%

Look at all of my hair- a little curl, even! 

Loves her bath, hates putting on pajamas all of the sudden.  

She has 4 teeth and is a serious drooler!  

I see you, Sydney!  She has started to pay Sydney more attention- the dog usually runs in the other direction.

Ready to take off.  She is all over the place these days.  It is hard to get her to sit still.

She is starting to pull up!

She has the best little laugh.

Happy birthday, Bubbles!

Caroline is 8 months!

At 8 months, she:
*can CRAWL!  She started doing a military style crawl on Saturday, February 16.  There is no stopping her now. 
*has two top teeth starting to poke through.
*sleeps from 8:30 pm to 7 am.
*loves Ms. Barbara at daycare. 
*still says da da.  I'm still not sure she is directing that at her Dad, but she sure does say it a lot.
*will eat anything, but her favorite things are sweet potatoes and bananas.  These also happen to be her favorite flavor of Puffs.  She is now taking all formula in her bottles. 
* insists on holding her bottles herself. 

Caroline remains the sweetest and happiest baby around!  I LOVE being her Mommy!

Caesars Head

The weather was warmer than it had been, so we decided to head up to Caesars Head for a Sunday afternoon hike.  Turns out, it was much much colder up the mountain, so our hike was more of a short stroll in the woods! Regardless, Caroline liked being toted around by her Daddy and didn't seem to be too bothered by the cold.  All in all, it was a nice (very short) trip up the mountain!

Goodbye, York Drive!

I said goodbye to the house I lived in for 8 years today.  It was a great house!  I take with me so many wonderful memories from my years there.  My first house, the first house Lee and I lived in together, Caroline's first house, the list goes on!  It was a bittersweet day.  I am a little sad to leave Columbia and all of my friends, but excited about our new adventures in Greenville!  I am looking forward to finding a new house in Greenville that we can make our next home.
